Restore scratched plastics
To Restore scratched pushchair / pram plastics, the best method by far is using a Nail File/Emery Board. These can be picked up from virtually anywhere, beauty shops or retail shops in your local town… Prices range from a couple of pence to a pound or 2. When buying the emery board buy 1 that has a rough side and a smoother side also if you buy a 4 way nail buffer this will put the sheen back onto the plastic.
Depending on the severity of the scratch, if deep or really bad use the roughest side first, when buffering the scratches out, go in the direction of the scratch, as going against the scratch may make more scratches. When you have achieved the overall look of the area where the scratch was to your standard simply use the bit smoother side of the emery board, to make it even smoother! When it is the smoothest it will go, use your 4 way buffer (if you have bought 1) use the 1, 2, 3, 4, sides. This should make the area really smooth and shine… If you haven’t used a 4 way nail buffer, simply get a tiny bit of Vaseline and rub it into the area in a quick circular motion.
When you have finished doing the scratch removal process sit back and be proud of your very handy work. Also how New your buggy looks ?

Restore Coach Built Pram Fabrics
To Restore Faded Pushchair / pram Fabrics, the best method by far is using Liquid Suede Shoe dye. This Dye can be found in your local shoe/heel repairer shop, It comes in a little glass bottle with applicator brush. This is priced in the region of £2-£3 depending on where you live e.t.c. The contents will go very far!!! A Little goes a very long way.
To apply this to your fabric, first off wash your fabrics and make sure your fabric is 100% dry. Also cover the work area in which you will be using to dye your fabric. This dye is Permanent!!. Dip the applicator into the bottle and with a bit of kitchen towel dab the excess off, apply to the fabric in a quick circular motion, apply a sparse amount of dye at a time, you can always add more dye but you cannot take any off. Keep doing this process till you cover the whole area. The colour will look more natural and blended in when dry.
Depending on how badly faded your fabric is, it may require 2 coats or more.
When you have reached your desired shade, make sure the Whole area of fabric which you have dyed is 100% dry! Then simply place the fabric in the washer on a 30oc wash to remove any excess dye and to also lock in the colour.
When your covers have dried, place then back onto your Buggy, stand back and be proud of your newly looking covers.
Tried and tested many, many times with positive results.
