To Restore Faded Pushchair Fabrics, the best method by far is using Liquid Suede Shoe dye. This Dye can be found in your local shoe/heel repairer shop, It comes in a little glass bottle with applicator brush. This is priced in the region of £2-£3 depending on where you live e.t.c. The contents will go very far!!! A Little goes a very long way.
To apply this to your fabric, first off wash your fabrics and make sure your fabric is 100% dry. Also cover the work area in which you will be using to dye your fabric. This dye is Permanent!!. Dip the applicator into the bottle and with a bit of kitchen towel dab the excess off, apply to the fabric in a quick circular motion, apply a sparse amount of dye at a time, you can always add more dye but you cannot take any off. Keep doing this process till you cover the whole area. The colour will look more natural and blended in when dry.
Depending on how badly faded your fabric is, it may require 2 coats or more.
When you have reached your desired shade, make sure the Whole area of fabric which you have dyed is 100% dry! Then simply place the fabric in the washer on a 30oc wash to remove any excess dye and to also lock in the colour.
When your covers have dried, place then back onto your Buggy, stand back and be proud of your newly looking covers.
Tried and tested many, many times with positive results.
